WHAT TO EXPECT:
Share your biggest challenges.
Before the session, you'll tell me about the challenges you frequently face in your music classroom. We'll use that information to focus our time together on the areas that matter most to you.
During the session, we'll explore common classroom behaviour patterns, discuss the specific situations you've experienced, and develop practical, music-specific strategies tailored to your students, teaching space, and teaching style.
You'll leave with greater confidence, a clear action plan, and a brief written summary to help you put your ideas into practice.
Get Practical Solutions That Work.
Every music classroom is different, so there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll develop personalised strategies that suit your students, teaching space, experience, and teaching style.
Whether you need support with classroom management, lesson planning, routines, student engagement, or building confidence, you'll leave with ideas you can put into practice straight away.
Leave with a Clear Action Plan.
By the end of your coaching session, you'll have practical strategies tailored to your classroom, a clear plan for your next steps, and a brief written summary to support you as you put your ideas into practice.
Instead of leaving with more information, you'll leave with greater confidence and an action plan you can start using straight away
Walk Away Feeling Supported and Confident.
Teaching music is rewarding, but it can also be challenging. Sometimes all it takes is the opportunity to talk through your classroom with someone who understands the unique demands of teaching music.
Whether you're preparing for the first weeks of school, tackling a difficult class, or simply looking for fresh ideas, you'll leave your coaching session feeling supported, more confident, and ready to put your plans into action.
When you feel confident and prepared, your students benefit too—with clearer expectations, stronger engagement, and more meaningful music-making.

MEET YOUR COACH
Hi, I'm Kim!
Ā
I have more than 40 years of classroom experience teaching middle and high school music. Throughout my career, I've taught general music, guitar, choir, music appreciation, music theory, and composition, and I've worked with students of all ages and abilities.
I continue to teach privately in my home music studio while supporting music teachers around the world through MusicTeacherResources.
I know that every music classroom is different, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution.
Whether you're looking for support with classroom management, lesson planning, student engagement, or simply want to talk through a challenging situation, my goal is to provide practical, classroom-tested strategies tailored to your teaching.
I'd love to help you start the school year with greater confidence, a clear plan, and practical strategies you can use from day one.
